What units do glucose test strips measure glucose concentration in for biology labs?

I did a biology lab the other day, testing the permeability of glucose through a membrane. We had to check the options on each sides of the membrane to prove that there have been equal concentrations, but I forgot to report the units with my benefits. Are they in milligrams? Or does it count on what type of test strips you use?
